Back in the early days of my career, I had friends who chose not to hire me as their realtor, understandable since I was just starting out. They perceived it as a hobby. I watched other houses sell while I was eager to list. One day, a friend asked, “This is your hobby, right?” I assured him I was serious about real estate. Fast forward a few years, they witnessed my career progress, saw my marketing efforts, and began asking questions. When they faced a divorce, I was surprised to find myself named as their agent in the Divorce Decree. It meant a lot that they recognized my growth and professionalism, entrusting me with the sale of their multi-million dollar home. Divorce is tough, and selling a home simultaneously adds complexity. I’m grateful I could assist in smoothing out some of the process for them.
